    The scale pooped out and would only read 12.6 pounds. But I can for sure say it was 40 x 27 and fat in the belly! I would guess to say low 30\\\’s.

    Caught it in 11 foot eddie on the edge of some fast current. Smallest bullhead in the bucket. But it was not on my virgin pole.

    We boated one more too. Wastewaterguru brought hefty 46 x 28 to the boat and I netted it. His was on a small bullie also. Both of us landed a flat each. Awesome night on the Mn. River! On that I will not soon forget.

    Maybe we can break in your rod on a sturgeon? I\’m telling you Dan…once you hook into a good one…YOU will be hooked.

    So different than flats…but yet the same!

    We still need to get out sometime. I got a new place that is eating up my time now, but next year we gotta go. Guess I am not the only one who has been effected by that darn kitty fever
