In topics covered I don’t see any mention of the proper sturgeon fishing attire. Will Brian be covering this?

Sure, a guy gets Photo Shopped into a dress ONE time and you’re branded for life.

Sounds like a great time Brian. Just like Alvinmack, I would like to learn something about how to target these beasts during our brief annual opportunities to tangle with them. I know that your seminar will have something to offer everyone! I hope I can arrange my schedule to be able to attend.

So when is the “expert” seminar?

Will you be bringing in anyone from NASA as a guest speaker

Yes, I want to know how the experts do it. I am already a novice or advanced. Hey there Brian I will be seeing you and setting up that IOU.

    That’s a beautiful pic Shamu!

I can tell your a pro already…just by the way your holding that rod bender!

As strong as these fish are, holding a sturgeon by the gills is not doing the fish or our children any good. I encourage all of use to keep an eye out for the folks that are holding these fish vertically by thier gill plates. I’ve found in every case it’s a matter of education and once informed anglers become more careful.

Since it takes about 14 years for a male to reproduce and about 24 years for a female to reproduce we have to be very careful to take care of our fish.

I’m looking forward to the seminar and the opening day of the 2007 Sturgeon season! I predict bigger fish and much bigger smiles than last year!
