There will no doubt be a bite ,but the fast run off that these storms are have been producing, Inlets and creek feeds will not be the only place fish are grouping. Unless you find an inlet that will maintain above average flow for more than 24 hours.
The rivers will be so charged from the massive run off every where anyway that the bait may continue to hang where they are at.
What is Ideal is when you get a slow long soaker. Don’t jack the river level, but instead feeds the creeks over a period and then makes those structures more enticing. Give it a period of about a week if they are still running off. Then you will see some good action.
