MN/WI Catfishers I need your help

I’ve been asked to attend a citizen meeting this weekend that reports to the WI DNR.

I would like to present some facts about why the flathead fishery should be closed during their wintering period.

Also, why commercial netting for flatheads should be stopped.

The trouble I’m having is the short notice to get the FACTS together. If any of you have a few minutes and can do some googling please send the info my way.

Specificly I’m looking for:

The temps flats stop feeding.

How much contaminates are in flatheads.

What the Food and Drug administration deems allowable.

A photo of flats stacked up in the wintering hole would be usefull too.

This is one of the first of many steps…and again I thank you for any and all help.

And you can PM me all the GPS coordinates for your best producing locations, date, time of day, photos, weights and measurements so i can include in a study to help with this situation on the Mississippi and others on the MN River.
