That would be quite the rude awakening when the storms blew through!

Pug, we have two groups camping on the island between the lock and the dam.

The two younger fellas came in this morning to get more bait. They had a good night with channels and a couple smaller flats. They said it was “a bit windy.”

I haven’t heard from the family of four yet…but I’m guessing the two girls (under 10??) had a great time!

Thunderstorm going over head right now…and the river came up about 8 inches….more rain!

It was a lot of water and wind last night.
I know that we got 2.5 inches in the southern suburbs. That brought the MN up close to a foot. Hope we get another round in the later part of this afternoon.
Should make for an interesting contest tonight.

If I was caught camping and a storm like that blew in, you’d have to check me in to the funny farm.

One summer the GF at the time and her family and I took the pontoon from Little Sturgeon to Big Sturgeon. We went to McCarthy beach. Well a little storm blew in and there where 2 lightning strikes on the other side of the bay, less than a half mile away. So the storm comes over us and it starts pouring. I just about had a nervous break down pacing up and down the beach.
