    I’ve posted this in the ‘sippi cat forum, but thought it might be good here too.

    The deadhead by the Y has move into the boating lane going towards the dam. The can that was attached to it is gone.

    So the only warning is about a foot by a foot part of the tree that’s at the waters surface.

    Hitting it going down stream will make a noise at the very least…an up stream collision is not going to be pretty.

    Thanks Brian you can never be to careful out there especially this time of year with the water so low…

    On a lighter side we know the Minnesota is full of wood, deadheads and the occaisonal……

    Greatfull “deadhead”……. ..so be careful

    UPDATE: Blaze Orange boat bumper now attached. No reflective tape for the night guys thou…

    That picture reminds me of the story of the guy on shore having fun by himself at the expense of Tony (gocatfish) and I think Farmboy(?) last year. Ever since they cleaned up Blackdog, we haven’t had any fun reports like that.

    It wasn’t me.

    I was with Gary when he took that picture.

    This was the middle of the river at right before the first bend going down from the Shakopee launch at the campground.

    This guy looked a little intoxicated to say the least.

    BTW-thanks for the compliments guys. I don’t have that much hair.
