Just thought I would share so you have something to watch for at night.

    Two moons on 27 August

27th Aug the Whole World is waiting for………….

Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting August.

It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. This will cultivate on Aug. 27 when Mars comes within 34.65M miles of earth. Be sure to watch the sky on Aug. 27 12:30 am . It will look like the earth has 2 moons. The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287.

Share this with your friends as NO ONE ALIVE TODAY will ever see it again.

Beat me to it – just another email – sounded cool though. I recalled that one from 2003, when Mars actually was close, but not like another moon – still something to see.

What I love to see out there are the northern lights – anyone see those this year?

I have not seen northern lights yet this year. I like how the sky looks ten times bigger at night than during the day. Just another cool site to enjoy in the dark on the river

I still can’t find the little dipper…hope I find this!

My cat fishing is bad enough when there’s one full moon…now I have to put up with two!

I went out early this morning and I really could see anything through the blinding flashes of light.

I was out between 12:30 and 12:45 and I did get a couple of glances of the moon but that was it between the cloud cover. but wow was it a bright moon last night I\’ll hopefully make it out for longer tonight if it doesn\’t storm like they are saying it is going too

I looked out to see it but saw nothing. I am wondering if it wasnt going to happen tonite. My mom was talking about it this weekend and she was not sure either. Now I have to ask if the moon has an affect on catfish at all. Im only wondering becuase Ive been thinking of going again.
