I had the chance to take out Mr. Johnson early this year. We had camera problems…two cameras needed batteries if I recall…no, I left my memory card at home so I used my second back up camera…(pay attention here Farmboy! )

I just found this pic from when I downloaded it a while back. Better late than never Mark!?

It was a good time on the water…glad you got into a pretty kitty!

    Welcome to the darkside.

How many more before there are too many and I get kicked out?

Hey Brian The wife only gives me enough money to buy bait and one soda a week. I can’t go affording to buy another camera, I blame her

Nice fish Mark You will like the darkside. Everyone knows daylight is for sissys

Oh Brian, that be from getting the mowing done before fishing. the GF has rules, no fishing before my chores are done. Plus, some of that sun comes from the evening hours when the first little ones move to feed. Not exactly prime tanning time, but 3 hours of it will darken you a little.

Of course the next few days I will be fishing the daylight hours at the brother’s cabin. You know those cat rods work pretty good for pike too, just throw a leader on!

Don’t worry, it’s for your own good. We don’t want you to be temped to go back. The feelings will go away eventually.

….1 month later. I am still stuck in the dark side For the safety of me and my family I have tried to conceal the identity of the person holding the fish, but there may be a cat report coming soon from a walleye and muskie guy

That fog on the Croix does get thick at times!

    That’s a huge channel!

Cool pic. I want to hear the story behind this. I would also like some directions to where you caught it.

I need a few more nights on the darkside before I come back and report my findings….maybe the blue face is from Moon burn?

I gotta give BK credit for discovering moonburn, I just recognized the symtoms—baggy eyes, blue face and very tired the day following the excess moon exposure

I fished for a few hours Sat. night(cold and rainy) missed one run and got the anchor stuck on a log in 20FOW…..
