New to this site, a BIG HELLO to all from central Ne. Fish for big flatheads, am addicted to them I’ll admit it freely. About the only other thing I fish for is wipers; have several lakes close to home with 10#+ rocketfish (that’s what I call ’em). Hunt ducks in the fall/winter, take a couple does for the freezer each year. Am recently retired and am lovin’ the heck out of it. Work a few hours a day with a pro dog trainer training labs for field trials. )

Welcome, Mike. Where in NE are you? I’m from the northeast part of the state, and lived in Kearney for a few years. Good to see another Nebraskan on the site.

Have pictures, but are 35mm. Don’t have much computer experience, don’t know how to post the pics……However, there is a guy from Ne. Game and Parks in the process of doing an article on my flathead fishin’. Has been out once a few weeks ago; will be out on the 18th, 19th this month to do 2 nights in a row. Hopefully will be able to put a big one in the boat for him.

If the article gets on the web, be sure to put up a link. I know I like reading about flats being caught in other parts of the country as well!

That’s what my mom used to call me. “Ugly Mike, The Ugly One, The Mistake”. Oh geez, cannot lie to you people. She still calls me that.
