to clarify the cost. It was $54 total for the spot for 6 tents can fit there. The people there will have to cover that cost. A pretty fair deal ($9.00 per tent if we get 6)for A Friday and Saturday night stay in Madtown. Also my cell number is 608 732-5778 if you need to get a hold of me.

I was there from 80-85. Went after I got out of the Air Force and then came over here to MN for a job. Sorry I can’t make that weekend. I’ll be in the state but up to home in Manitowoc for a Family Reunion. Everyone should have a fun time.

Those dates should probably work for me.
Kev, do you think it would be possible for you to round up some extra stink bait, bobbers and tubes or hooks or whatever it is you find works best? Some supplies that we could buy from you when we get there.

I can get a few of the necessities, but the bobbers and lights you are on your own. I will try to post a picture of the rig I use later tonight. Don’t everyone PM me all at once either about the camp sites.

hmmmmm…. we’re throwing a 50th wedding anniversary party for the inlaws on the 4th. I wonder if the wife would be OK with me missing that ‘party’ to join this one????

I’ve drank my fair share of beers in the union and seen a few bands too. The docks that were behind the union also produced some nice northerns that i can attest too. I know Mendota used to hold some megga perch back in the late 60’s and early 70’s and the scenery was great around the union too. Anyone remember $1 pictures in the union,,,Id go, its about 3 hrs from me, be nice to see the town again.

Used to fish with my late grandpa on Storm Lake – he was from Alta. Caught lots of crappies and white bass and a few channels. Didn’t really know what I was doing back then though, hadn’t even considered catfishing at that age. Nice lake, though, and lots of shore access.
