    Where could I go catfishing from shore on the river? Do you guys catch the bullheads you use for bait or can you buy them.

    Check in with Mr. Mike at Hooked on Fishing in Rochester.

    There are places on the Zumbro that’s good catten from shore and he can point you to some are lakes for bully’s.

    There’s only a couple places I know of that carry bullheads for bait…and none are close to you. Moores Bait and Tackle in Mpls is one.

    The spots I’m aware of on the ‘sippi for shore fishing are all accessable only by boat…but I’m sure there are some that I’m not aware of.

    I would do a search of some local ponds in your area. These are perfect to put a couple traps out in Check them daily and bait them with hotdogs or beef liver.

    $8 per dozen I believe at Moore’s.
