My first flatty ever, about 22 lbs last Monday the 22nd.

My wife’s first flatty, from Saturday — not quite as big as Jolene’s — 25 inches only, but still a good time. Notice the temp difference from last Monday the 22nd to Saturday the 26th

This one Larry and I yanked in May 29th, 43×26 inches, 35 lbs

    Nice fish aanderud!

Do you know there was some scary looking animal in the back of your boat? Glowing eyes, and the last picture you can see the fangs!

    Welcome to IDA!

Nice boat, looks like a SportFish?

    Welcome aboard Mate.
Give Jack a pat for me,(Glow eyes in the background) Start letting him take a lick and sniff off each cat you catch and he should start turning him into a Flat hound, soon to be able to sniff any flat out with in 500yds. LOL

Thanks. Yeah, it’s a sportfish 1850. It’s getting a bit old, it’s a ’97, but it’s holding up all right. Gets me around. Buying a well-used 9 year old boat makes a guy a little less worried about things like mud from the river, etc.

    Chris H. 32#ish 42″L 26″G.

Glad I was there to see it.

There are a lot of 42-43″ fish. Good year class? Is this maybe where males stop growing (doubt it)?

Weights? Measurements? Nice fish! That first one looks like a pig, but they are all beauts!

Mike C’s first Flatthead of the year.
This dude hit a crawler on Mike’s light rod and gave him a good tussle.

Here is a pic of my friend Randy (on the right) and myself with our double, fishing with Brian, on our St Jude’s trip.
Mine was about 21 pounds, and my nicest Cat on a rod, in a while.
I don’t think Brian made a report on this trip.
    Jack..
