Along with the cat log that was started, I thought we could start a picture log as well of all the Flats caught in 2007. This could be interesting…

I hope to be able to add to this very soon!

Since it was the first, I thought I’d post him.

Better than a kick in the teeth. Felt good to real up the line and feel the thud of the cat moving off with the bait and setting in the hook on something. Sorry for the dumb pose, but I was on my own.

Is that a catfish? Or a chameleon?

Larry… we’ve been over this before.

Size doesn’t matter! Or at least thats what I keep telling myself.

I’m not commenting on size….. A fish is a fish.
But that flat is definitely blending in with the background. When I start loosing the fish where it blends in with his the camo shorts.
Way to go on the Flat Pug….. It a sign of good things to come

I am still trying to get the right colors to wear fishing for flats so the pictures turn out nice. The Wild sweatshirt is ok, but I should have held it up more. But when I am alone, I try and get a picture and get her back in to grow up. In retrospect, maybe taking a knee would have worked. That photo is cropped and I am hunched down.

I’ve found that red or blue really make a flat stand out.

Here it is, long awaited first flathead of the season. I also got the butt of my vicious cat dog. Watch out, he may try to lick you to death

I did not get a weight on him. Fishing by myself it is hard enough to get the fish in, get a picture, measure him, and get him gone without killing him. I figure a live fish is worth more then a weight.

38lbs caught on 5/12/07 with wwg and a couple buds on the Minnesota.

My roommate’s catch..It’s identical twin caught on 5/25/07 also 38lbs.. also with wwg, in his boat, with a couple buds.

Forgot to mention, it’s was his 2nd time out for flats and 1st flatty every. Not bad for an icebreaker huh!

WWG + BOAT + BEER = BIG FLATS!!

Wastewatergurus boat is on fire this year…congrats guys.

I know I caught the same Flat “15lber” twice within a week last year it had the same hook and green PP in it.

I’ve often wondered how many times BK has landed some of his….
