Had a chance to go out and Fish with a good Mate of mine. Last night… I think I owe him a big one in return.

This one went (44 lenght X 27 Girth) and tipped the scales at an est. 38-39lbs. (accounting for a net adjustment)

My third largest Flat to date.

Thanks Mate I owe you one, Hopefully as big as this or bigger……..

Please step forward and take a bow.

    Nice fish, Larry.
I’m heading out in an hour or so – your pic kind of pumps me up. My turn.

Way to go Larry! I am still waiting for whomever you went with to step forward, although I think I have a good idea.

I can’t wait to get the annual fishing opener with the brothers over so I can start hitting the river; this weather has given me an itch. I have a couple left over bullheads that need to be freed before I head up north. I will try and coax a daytime Ollie out of the nearest brush.

How would you say it compared in power to your 58″ sturgeon from a few weeks back?

Very powerful…. different type of fight though. They took about the same amount of time and this fish was 10lbs lighter.
Sturgeon bolt around and pull, Flats PULL HARD like a bull.
