    Anyone know if the islands are under water just north of Hudson bridge? looking to do some camping Saturday.

    I think with this high water yes they are under water.

    The Gf and I were planning on getting out camping this weekend on the St Croix but with the islands still under upriver we might try getting out on pool 2.

    I just saw that my map I have on my phone and the one on the link above are different. There are 3 camp sites on the lower part of the pool.

    I know there’s a good spot about 7 miles downriver from 494 that’s all sand and has its own little private bay thingy out of the current which is nice for parking the boat. It’s up high to so water level won’t be an issue

    It’s always cozy.

    Best camping is along the steep rocky banks north of stillwater… That’s where you’ll find my boat when I’m not fishing south of stillwater. I can always find peace and quiet up there, and usually some fish too
