Bonus fish

had a couple hrs to spare saturday morning so i decided to hit up a shore spot in search of sum wallys on the criox.
i caught a few wallys, one was a keeper.
maybe have caught more wallys but dem pesky sturgeons like crawlers too. lol
it wasnt the biggest sturggie but sure was a blast the hardest 50″ ive ever fought. i was using my wally gear with #10 suffix. man it sure wrked the drag on my new reel and almost spooled me. had to chase after it, running dwn the shoreline, weaving in/out of other fishermen and leaping over fishing tackle, with sum luck was able to keep it out of the main channel landed it by hand
made for a pretty fun morning

Nice fish Phil! Fishing from shore can be a real challenge when you get a big fish on small gear and have to run up and down the shoreline. And by challenge, I mean a test of ones fishing ability. Nice job!

kinda funny but another angler runs over to help me with his net. one of those shallow rubber wally net, whcih was the size of a butterfly net
