    YOUTUBE VIDEO OF THE TRIP

    40-45 fow on an bend in the River by Wheeler’s Point launch. 65lb braid, 3 oz no roll weights, 9-15″ leader made from main line, 4/0 octopus circle hooks, and nightcrawlers. Caught 25 between Friday and Saturday from the 4 of us. All fish were released. A couple were given to the DNR for tagging.

    My softball tournament got canceled.
    If i had enough vacation i’d be back up.

    I’d live up there in a heatbeat if i could find work…Anyone hiring engineers in Baudette? LOL

    Yep. My brother was looking at going to work for them up there. Little to much winter for me that far north. Would make the best of it if I had to.

    Yeah but 6 months of sturgeon fishing and 6 months of walleye fishing, Toss in giant northerns or muskies…For a guy that fishes over 110 days a year…This sounds like the place for me

    Only thing i would miss is catfish…and the abundance of college girls
