Does anyone know of any place that has them in the forest lake area? My buddy is coming up from that area this coming weekend. He needs to pick up the crawlers, as we have none available anywhere up here.

There are some that are picking theirs up at Adrians Resort once up there.

I haven’t heard the price. Generally if a person stays there the price is ridiculously low. Might want to check.

Joe’s should have them if ordered prior.

Doesn’t seem like many bait shops realize how many flats of crawlers are bought for sturgeon fishing each year.

Out of curiosity how many flats does a typical weekend angler go through?

In the past, we’ve been fine with a flat for 3 guys over 3-4 days. Your results may vary. It all depends on how active the sturgeon and suckers are.

I ordered from Cabelas yesterday. 1st time they didn’t sound confident they’ll have them by the 21st. I kind of figured i would be able to get some from resorts up there if cabelas doesn’t come through.

I order online from Speedy Worm. Fast shipping, great crawlers and fair price compared to everyone else.

Never heard of Speedy Worm. It looks like they are out of Alexandria MN. On the site it says one or two day shipping to your door if in MN. Is that what you are getting?

Talked to log cabin bait on wheelers point this morning and they still do not have crawlers in. Comment was the river is still frozen out front. If you are planning on getting crawlers while up there might want to give them a call first.

We might be road tripping if we go through out flat early.

Our group of 9 has two flats + my 3rd if it shows up.

Will be plenty of worms to throw to another boat if someone is out while i’m up there.

I called the Log Cabin and Border Bait last week. They both claimed they don’t have a lot of crawlers and will only sell by the Doz. I also called Adrian’s and was told the only people they will be getting flats for is people that are Staying there. I ended up getting a flat reserved at Outdoors Again in Baudette. I thought that it was ridiculous that the bait shops on the river were refusing to let me reserve a flat of crawlers a week in advance.
