I know it’s a long way out, but I would like to take 2 trips to Drayton area this summer. Wondering If there is anyone that would like to get a group of boats out there and nail the big cats. My schedule is open other than last weekend in July.

I’m Interested, I live about 90 miles west of Drayton and would love to get some cat fishing in there this summer.

I know for sure I will be up there but would like to go up there and actually fish for myself at night with some buddies. Would be nice to fish it while not on a schedule.

I think that having a few boats up there will add to the safety factor and always makes for more fun at the campfire.

I’ll be looking for a reason to head that way again.

I hope to make it up to the red this year. I haven’t made any plans yet but will be soon.

Barring a big snow or rainy spell it looks like there will be little to no flooding. The good news of that is we get in early. The bad news is so does everyone else and we end up with low water at some point. Any way you look at it we will be cattin.

Once i get your book read, i’ll probably make a trip up there Brad. Fishing the minnesota river for several years i’m sure the Red isn’t much different.

Our snow is about half gone now and the river is only up a foot. My guess right now is we will be in mid-April and everything will be game on by early to mid May.
