…the first thing I see is heaven.

    74 pound blue…

It’s too bad they don’t like the MN/WI water temps (or whatever keeps them out).

Each morning when I wake up I ask myself why I don’t head South for a blue fishing trip. <sigh>

It’s cabin catfish fever for sure.

Definitely that time of year. I had a dream last night that we were trying to launch the boat onto ice.

That’s because you’re holding a fish with scales.

Well I am heading south to try for Mr. Blue catfish only one more month to wait. The question is why do I not winter in the south and summer up here?……

Sounds like you need to talk James into taking the IDO film crew a bit farther south for the next show.

You must not be married. No women I know would allow a kitty on the wall in the bedroom. Maybe a rainbow or brown trout depending on the color scheme

I’d probably be game for trip like that one of these years The question is where? The James River is on my bucket list. I drove over it many times when I was stationed near there but never had time to fish. Then there is the Big muddy down by Missouri.

I would say the bucket list spots are James, Wheeler, MO at St. Louis.

Wheeler is about to be checked off and working on a James trip for fall.

Little further South, but there’s always Texoma.

Now that’s just torture, plain and simple.
