John Lehto boated this flat back in ’98.

On the back of the photo it says L 51″ x G 33″.

He used a formula that seemed odd to me but since I use a scale, it didn’t really matter.

I know there’s be a ton of data put into the length/girth formulas over the last few years. What does this pig come in at?

The back of the photo gives an est of 70 pounds.

By the size of that fish, I’m thinking it’s pretty close.

Hey BK! So I searched on Google, and according to the MO DNR, that fish would weigh 63lbs at 51″. According to a fisheries biolgist site I found, they said to cube the length of the fish and divide by 2000, which puts it at 67lbs. SO anywhere between 60-70lbs sounds about right depending on who tells the story

Depends on how far you can throw it.

    That I am Wayne.

If I would catch a fish that size in the summer months I would be on cloud 9 for about…ummm 6 years.

The video shows the size much better but I can’t find it.
