Got my cousin out for her first sturgeon adventure.

38′ of water – a 12 year old bottle of Macallans and she stuck a monster!

Scotch and Sturg is a must – only 7 days left in the season – get out there and find your MONSTER!

    Enjoy:

What is that hanging out of it’s mouth??
Did the air bag come out being taken from 38′ of water?

    Nice fish!

Looking at that vacuum, I think it would be cool if someone could film them feeding.

Very nice fish for a first sturgeon. Any guess as to how much it weighed?

That’s the first picture I have seen with that big of a sucker on them. It looks pretty bad. I have never caught one of these but man, they sure look a lot different than any other fish in the water.

With the camera down through the ice, I’ve seen them come by vacuuming up food. Pretty cool to see!

There are so many people, including fishermen that don’t know what a sturgeon is much less the are fairly close to them.

If I zoom in I can just start to make out your GPS coordinates.

Lol at GPS coords. Sturgeon are so easy to fish for, you may as well call them channel cats Chuck out bait, catch fish. Nice one Jake.
