Saturday evening was picture perfect on the St Croix.

The father/son team of Peter and David ended the evening early (golf game in the morning ) with four fish in the boat.

Dave took the record of largest at 50 inches (followed closely by his dad with a 48) and the smallest at around 13 inches.

These two guys are now hooked on these gentle giants!

Same here man, it would make it a lot easier for me to pinpoint a few catfish and sturgeon spots to hit on my own. But then again, it would take the fun out of this adventure we call fishing. As the sign hanging in my bedroom says, “Fishing, if it were easy, it would be called Catching”

I got new rain gear and will be on the river this weekend rain, snow, sleet, wind, or whatever.
