Well the details are that I can not get rid of this ear to ear grin.

Spent 50 hours on the water from Thurs-Sunday last weekend. Put over 200+ channels in the boat and roughly 25+ over 34″.

The picture above is a double I had on my own rods (20lber on the right, 35.5″, and 24lber or so on the left, 37.5″). I was able to reel in the 20lber and as soon as I had him in the boat – the other rod keeled over and fish on!

    Unreal weekend on the red.

The Great Red River of the North…in Canada.

One of the few MUST go destinations for Trophy Channel Cat fishing.

First he lands that sea monster of a sturgeon, then enough trophy channels to sink a duck boat. Jakob needs to go for muskies one of these days, he might get that elusive state record!

Gah muskie – I try to put in time finding one of those dang fish – have put in like 200 hours in the past two years with not one in the boat… I have no idea how to muskie fish I guess.

Sauger is right! This time of year a decoy sized sucker on a sucker harness rig or quick strike rig under the biggest bobber you can find is the way to go!
