Labor Day Weekend PB Catfish

    So I went out walleye fishing at Pool 4 near the Dam Saturday morning with the wife. Well no walleyes but I hooked this flat head on a walleye rod and a jig. It took two hours to bring in this cat and thanks to Steve at Everts and Trumar to help me land it! I got my PB flat head – 32 pounds! Thanks again for the help! As a walleye fisherman I now have more respect for these animals and it was awesome.

    BTW the shorts are now my cat fishing shorts

    Nice catfish!!! I bet the first few minutes you were thinking 12 pound-plus walleye!!!

    Slime was good to get on that new boat! Well worth it, but I forgot and it caked on the side. Had to use a little elbow grease to clean it off.

    She was NOT ticked off… if look at her she is laughing because she had never seen a guy in a fancy boat with fancy shorts let a little cat like that have its way way with him.. she said if she caught it would been in the boat long ago and all set up for the next one.
