    Best method?

1/4 oz jig had and a plastic.

This young lady has the head of a 50 pounder and the body of a 30.
Steve had some help from a passer by to get this one in the boat with his six pound line.

Then there was a call from Trumar. “Need a little help” he said.

Jeff sure was tickled when this one came to the boat!

I’ll let Trumar fill in the details.

    It was BIG

When I finally boated it thanks to BK it weighed in at 30.1 lbs

Method of choice.. Orange 1/4 oz jig and crawler 26′ fow.

    Nice job guys!!

Why would Steve use 6lb. test for cats? I suggest he book a guide trip to find the proper equipment for cats.

The guys around me use 6lb. for rough fish (Walleye) I certainly wouldn’t suggest that lb. test for real fish.

Nice fish Trumar! Did you have to take a picture of you punching it in the stomach, just because you were fishing for walleye?
