Where are you guys headed? I have been on the croix 5 out of the last 8 nights. I am thinking about hitting some new water and have a open seat Fri or sat night if anyone is interested. Bait tanks full and ready to go.
on ‘Ol Miss River’ @ Pepin in the morning. Plan cranks first. Shallow then deeper. If that don’t turn them going rig’n with the gambit…..Saturday or Sunday out to Mankato area lake, using same plan…..

I was about to start my channel cat season this weekend and then my buddy calls and offers a seat for Lake Michigan. I’m off to the really big pond on Saturday hoping for some mighty kings. Some of the best people I know I’ve met here.

I plan on being out the next 3 nights. planning a mushroom hunt too though so it might end up just being 2 nights. I will be on the Mississippi but I might have to rethink my spots the way the river is dropping.
