Lots of people bank fishing, the cats are biting.Fish seem to prefer gold eye.But sucker works too. Bait placement makes no difference the fish are moving. Seen mostly small fish landed, most people using worms. Have gotten some nice ones but no real large cats yet.Very nice day yesterday. No telling who might come along.

Looks like a great time on a beautiful day to be outside!

Ill second that. Kinda reminds me of bank fishing the St Louis river near floodwood mn for spring cats.

So do those cats hit that cut bait like a freight train? Seem to remember we always had to tie the rods off to something or risk loosing them in the river.

That looks like a beautiful stretch of river to set up on. Way to go.

When the cats take off they pull hard yes you could lose a rod. The rod holders don’t allow for that and with circle hooks the fish hook them self’s.

Looks great, I have to start learning the red a little better. Thanks for the report!
