    Last year by April 24th we’d already put a 51 pounder in the boat, but that was an entirely different April…

    No kidding Matt. Last year I couldn’t get ready fast enough. This year, well maybe I’ll put away the snow shovel before getting the boat ready…

    Just in from a walleye fishing friend.

    He was pulling cranks and hooked into a 34″ flathead. The fish belched up a 12″ sheephead.

    Might have to change the plans from channels to flats tonight.
