Thought you might want to try Hormel Completes meals- They new feature a couple of quickie microwave dinners – I tried Spam with red beans and rice, they also have Spam and potatoes. If you try the one with red beans and rice – beware it is very hot

One of the guys I know and a guy he goes with got 24 yesterday, the biggest was 8 lbs, they averaged 3 to about 7 lbs. Its still early and it will go like this until the end of May. Finally we have decent water. I’ve got to get tags for my boat and trailer then I’ll be out on the water myself, fishin’s good right now.
Forgot to mention that he was with another guy in the morning and a diffrent guy yesterday afternoon about sunset.

Guthooked, Redneck gave me a container of that this late winter. It’s awesome! I haven’t tried any of the others but it’s darn good in 45 seconds and no dishes to clean up. Great while in a winterized camper!

Speaking of laughing beavers, I spotted Jeff Huberty next to this tree. It’s leaning towards the river. Hopefully there won’t be anyone near it when it comes down and it will come down this year.

But passers by will never know that this is a special tree to me. I met a good guy while fishing under that tree. I never pass it without thinking of him.
I’m sure many folks have special trees on their stretch of the river.
