Hey. I would like to buy some alarms that will get my attention and even wake me up. Any Ideas.

There was a River Monster episode where the guy tied the line to his big toe while he napped, but it was not a happy ending

Go to Fleet Farm NOW (before ice fishing supplies are put away) and get yourself a tipup alarm. They sell one that is activated by a line out sensor and has a bright red light and a very loud alarm on it. Buy it, clip it to the end of your rod, and put a small bit of line through it. A fish will pull it out and trigger the alarm. We use them when bank fishing and bs-ing around fires. They work great and cost $7

The one we use is the HT micro bite indicator.

Something about bells just make it sound like Xmas. Gets you all giddy just don’t know how an electric alarm would achieve that.

I have used these and they work great. But I see on the website there sold out but coming out with a new model. Don’t remember how much they were but they were inexpensive like around $4. http://www.bitebuzzer.com/
