We got these during about a 6 week run of some really nice flatheads when we fished off the dam here in town. Alot of guys were catching good sized fish and quite a few. During high water they come over the lower roller dam on the south side of town and then are stopped by the 5 in one dam here in downtown.
We know alot of these fish came from miles down river so I’m sure it didn’t hurt the population any, just thinned a few out considering how many there is in the river here. Just posted these so people can see what a really good flathead bite is like and how they run here when the water and temps are right.
