Some say BK needs to get a life, in fact my FW says that once in a while too.

Fact is, I do have a life of mostly friends that includes fishing. I think it was Jon Jordan that first said “everyone on Ido is my friend”. It so true.

I thought about listing the Ido members that I’ve gone fishing with or shooting with or met at a Get ToGether or met at one of our sponsor locations. Can do it. Way too many people to list! I had a booth at the Anglers Expo this last weekend. The last thing on my mind was booking a guide trip, it was all about meeting old friends and meeting new friends. I’ll be back there next year for the same reason.

I was watching a fellow at the Expo talk with someone that was interested in the way he fished. He was explaining in great detail the how’s and why’s he did what he did and I noticed how closely the recipient was listening. Hanging on every word. I really don’t thing many would have stopped to notice this conversation, but it made me smile out loud for just a brief moment.

This is what In-Depth Outdoors does.

It brings people with like interest together and if they choose and shortens their learning as much and fast as they want it to.

Ok, ’nuff of the sappy stuff and I’m almost off my soap box.

Thank you Mr. Holst for your idea while driving down I-35.

Thanks to all the Ido members that make Ido…Ido.

There, now I can stop watching my post count and post as much as I want.

Way to go BK! You are as nice a guy in person as you are on IDO. Always helpful with a tip or a joke, and I love you brother!

Very well said Brian! As you already know, I’m sure every active member on IDO shares in this!

I’ll have to admit BK, what I’ve learned on IDO has absolutely helped me catch the whiskers more consistently, not to mention bigger sizes. You guys also helped point us in the right direction to our first lake sturgeon on the St.Croix. Well done.
