    First time catching a decent cat through the ice nun the less on panfish gear finding the cats on the camera was cool btw they love gulp minnows. These were caught on a powernoodle fun day on the ice

    I suspect Ryan is going to Horseshoe. I hope to make it up there this winter sometime.

    I hope to get on Pepin ice this year for cats or rough scaly fish at some point.

    You fellows that like to fish for cats through the ice should really think about coming down to Mendota. It is easy to find them here and they average about 15lbs. Mendota isn’t frozen yet but after next week it will be. I’d be happy to point you in the right direction. You can get them jigging, using the automatic fisherman, or by tipup. I’d leave the UL gear home though. Nice fish by the way.
