Nicole Michel and I spent an afternoon fishing around the walleye and sauger guys. It was fun to see everyone catching fish.

Nicole is one of the most passionate people I’ve ever met when it comes to fishing. More so then a lot of guys I know. >Jesse<

Nicole experienced what I’ve been saying all along, a guy could spend a few days on the river just looking at the treasures the Mississippi holds. Once finding the areas, it’s just a matter of finding the right bait and hoping the fish were in an eating mood.

Good time Nicole! We’ll have to get that old Carp/Ski guy out one of these days too!

PS The audio is a little light. Please be gentle, I was the guide, net man and camera guy and I didn’t really master any of them.

Good stuff…thanks for sharing. Feels like I just when fishing but without the hassle of frozen fingers!

Love the vid. Question for ya. How do you like that net? I’ll assume it’s holding up to the channels. Are you going to get a few years out of it?

If I recall correctly I’m not the one that bailed out of fishing the Croix Saturday, in fact it was a beautiful day on the water. Too bad you couldn’t make it.

Jon, it’s rated at 15 pounds and I’ve had 15 pounds worth of stink bait in it to check it out. So far, I love it but wish I wouldn’t have to have the larger Frabill in the boat to handle the larger fish.

I had a couple times when I couldn’t get it closed, but found out there is and upside down to it. Now it’s a breeze opening and closing it. It’s a great space saver and is great for the guy that normally goes after fish less then 15 pounds.

I’ve only used it this year, but it’s in perfect shape (except for a little added slime )

    Ok Jesse…ok.

    Ps on the Hyber Net.

Fleet Farm had them on sale this fall for $49.00. That was a steal!

I know you didn’t trust Coley with the camera.

People actually fish for fish under 15 lbs?

There is a reason I come in after dark. I do enjoy panfish and the challenge of taking on a couple of superior fishermen with fancy boats in my little duck boat. Sometimes I get lucky. What the hell else is there to do in March? Who says I’m not after a 15 plus? I just haven’t found her yet.

I’m thinking we need to hook up one of these springs. It’s a little early from flats, but I would think we could have more fun then the guys in the sparkly boats with little fish.

    I won’t mention John’s name.

Coley, if he let you use the camera, how come we don’t see him catching anything?

His skills(talent) are more than slightly above average, but…. I have seen his monster catch and I think BK, (unlike me) is a man that would rather share others photos instead of his own. Although I would love to bring Bk with me to strait up FISH! ….

… If he brings that camera I WON’T be complaining
