Fished by some Industry tonight. Didnt have time to get worms or cut bait so I threw out some hotdogs and cheese curds. While I waited I tossed out a rapla and boated 8 fish in 20 min. Sauger and smallies, no cats but didnt expect to get any with a hot dog. Sorry BK not going to the dark side, just makin the kids smile

I see no issues with catching real fish without whiskers.

Even catmen can catch ole marble eyes.

I see no issues with catching trash fish. You’ll catch on to the real whiskered fish in due time.

PS thanks for making him wear gloves. I’ve heard those things cause warts.

Just to be clear so Mr. CO doesn’t come looking in anyone’s freezer for a bag of walleye cheeks…

Jesse was telling me about a walleye guide that breaks his line when he hooks into something big, they say it’s not an eye and don’t want to take the time to play the fish to the boat. This is the reason I now use a net for landing fish.

I asked Jesse to tell the guide the next time he sees him that he went out with a cat guide and all the little bait fish (walleyes) we caught, we cut out the cheeks and tossed the fish back.

Personally, I think people that “say” they don’t want to take the time to land a flathead, are simply afraid of them.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go find my flame proof jacket.

Doesn’t sound like much of a sportsman to me.
