Flathead Fever and his friend Shawn and I headed out in the cool over cast cover on Pool 4 today. As the cloud opened up to sunshine, it warmed up nicely with just a little wind coming out of the wrong direction just to be a little annoying.
We fished up by the dam with little success and yes, the sauger hatch of boats has started. I’m sure there will be reports coming in on them elsewhere in the forums. LOL!
Cut bait, crawlers was the bait of choice today.

I’m not sure Jesse, but I’m thinking Shawn might be interested in cat fishing….another walleye guy converted??
