Cool. Still trying to get my jon boat motor fixed or I would be hitting that area to. Would imagine the walleyes should be moving into the holes pretty soon.

Ended up with a few channels, one nice flat, and a few small sturgeon. Suckers and sheephead where on a terror last night even when using fatheads.

Pulling the kill switch on plane in 3″ of water so the lady friend could sit in a lawn chair and catch some sun. It packed sand and gravel in the intake and pump bowl. It reminded me that i need new tools in the boat. Rusted cresent wrenches don’t work well for pulling my jet foot off. It will be a long 3 mile float to the ramp this morning.

I may still have to bite the bullet and take the big boat over there looking for walleyes and crappies this fall. Will have a few skinny sand bars to cross but should be fine if up on plane. Thats the only way to run a good sand bar.

You have to do it leisurely.

    LMAO!

It helps to have a finely crafted cigar while enjoying the sand bar jumping..
