New to Sturgeon Fishing on the Croix?

It’s a holiday weekend folks with cruisers heading to Stillwater and toward the Mississippi.

Whether fishing at night or during the day it’s a good thing to remind everyone in the boat to watch for boat traffic headed your way.

I guarantee there will be some close calls again this year, but waving/signaling on coming traffic early is much better then the alternative.

For night fishing ensure all navigational lights are working and leave them all on. Keep your spot lights handy.

Sound advice. Holiday boat traffic is pretty much my only concern fishing on the Croix. It is supposed to be warm too, so no cool weather to thin the herd at all.
