Anyone hear how they are doing?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Sheesh, a guy goes outta town for one day…. Posting from the river right now. By no means are things fast and furious. All the regulars from Illinois seem to have packed up and left, so i really hope that isn’t a sign…
Probably 10 channels between two boats thus far, biggest is 7.5lbs. We are running around and working for them for sure. More to come!
Thanks Doug.
If you’re not out tonight, I’ll be seeing you right after my hair cut.
Gotta look nice for running the bait shop on Saturday.
Well things are looking up on the daytime bite. Moving around and catching fish but really only a couple per spot theb the bite dies.
Gotta go, fish on!

All that won’t matter if you smell like stink bait.
Jeff, you think hiding behind the Hamm’s Bear is going to protect you?
I know where you live.
Doug cursed me a few weeks ago and that thing worked. I haven’t caught anything but shakers since then. I hereby back at ya your curse.
Update. Just got off the river. Fished for flats with bullies and each also had a stink rig out. Geo had the hot stick with a 30″ and a 24″ channel. No flats.also had a nice chat with RRR around the campfire.

That picture made my eyes burn for just a sec and then they just fell right out of my head. I had to have my cat type this in for me.
Thanks.

Almost Live Action…
RRR put Doug and Crew on fish.
Photo taken a 6:18pm
It’s catfish (and walleye) for dinner tonight!
I recognize that motor!
Good luck and great fishing guys!
When we were down there last week things had started to slow down a bit too… a couple fish per spot and then on to the next location. But when they bite, wow. What a battle.
Wow, thanks to the crew at Evert’s! It was a great get away even if we had to pull out all the tricks to put fish in the boat. We’re already planning for next year.
Agreed. It was a great time. Nice to chat with BK, RRR, and meet Trumar for the first time. Great folks and good times.
I bet the bite will pick up now that we left!
Fun times in the no-wake zone:
It was very nice to meet you and your crew finally,I enjoyed the late night bull session your last night here.
Hope your stay at Everts was an enjoyable one and your trip home was a safe one, see all you guys next trip back
Goat, did you get any photo’s of your dads bank fishing cats/carp?
I asked him if he wanted a pict of the carp, but he said “Na” I don’t think he believed me that people take pictures of nice carp too. He was quite pleased with the cat. It was a personal best. He’s caught lots of fiddlers in his day growing up on the Little Cottonwood, but never hit the whiskers on the big water.
Was just out in the garage unloading rods from the boat and grabbed a tube worm with stink bait on it. I realized 48 hours ago I would have just wiped my hand on my pants and moved along. Ahhh, catfish vacations, eh? Now I know how BK lives 24/7.
