Another walleye guy bites the dust

Erick a closet channel cat fisherman had the pleasure of taking his co worker and cat fish virgin out for a 3 hour trip last Saturday afternoon.

Minnesota Tom hasn’t been the same since. He now fits the profile of another closet cat fisherman. You know it’s not politically correct to have a persons walleye reputation tarnish by admitting they actually lowered themselves to fish for the whiskered fighters.

Tom and Erick fished stink and cut bait focusing on current seams just as they would while fishing for that other white meat.

At the end of 3 hours 16 fish boated with two coming from cut bait.

Stink is still king for putting fish in the boat!

“What a relaxing time. Now I know what you catfish guys are talking about. I’ll be doing this again!!” – Minnesota Tom

Although I’m tongue in cheek about walleyes, cat fishing (on purpose) is a total hoot and much different. More so when the other fish have their mouths closed. It’s more relaxed and just forget about boat control when you are on fish! Kick back, enjoy your favorite beverage and reel them in! They will make a person grunt!

There is absolutely no evidence that I was Cat Fishing. I will admit to being the person in the white St Croix T shirt, but I was only trying to help Zach net one of the bottom feeders so that we could get back to real fishing.

Go ahead and change it. If you do, I would consider that step two in the program. Wow, that leaves a long way to go for full recovery.
