state record catfish?

On another site, saw a link to this post in the mississippi catfish forum:

Anyone have any info regarding this rumored state record? Pics maybe? (even if it was not officially weighed, usually people take at least SOME kind of picture).

The guy who caught it, ate it!

I’m guessing this is a pic of the belly meat….It looks quite thick! Sad…
