Big pickle jar, tightly packed with fatheads.Let it set in the sun until it turns to oil then mix in bran flakes(best to do by hand)

I was thinking that way too Stuart, and making it into a dough ball. Mix in everything and add some cornflakes and make it into a dough ball. They do have dough ball catfish baits and it should work. If you want a cheese bait like Sonny’s etc. go to the cheese factory and buy some by-product cheese and mix that in. Maybe get a 5 gallon bucket with a paint mixer and put in everything into that bucket. You might as well make it in bulk. Cornflakes are cheap and so is everything else. Theres a reason why they only fill the jars part way, gas expansion

Any catfish worth his whiskers? Sounds like it would work. Some of the concoctions I’ve made in the past worked, some better then others. I was surprised to see how well garlic powder worked when added to something, especially chicken livers set in the sun until they almost bake, adding the garlic befor you set them in the sun.

We used to be able to get the styrafoam trays with livers in them. We’ed pull back the celophane and add the garlic powder. Then reseal and set in the sun until the next day ontop of the trailer. They were rank and reaked of garlic but the catfish loved them, noticed a big diffrence between them and regular livers fishing the exact same areas. They seemed to find the livers quicker after following the smell and they would also hit them harder and not just tap them.

Try cutting hot dogs into 1.5″ hunks into a bag or jar with a bunch of garlic powder and squeeze cheese and let it marinate in the sun. I have had awesome success with this combo

Well, as it turns out, even catfish have their limit of disgusting crap theyll eat. They wanted nothing to do with my decaying excuse for dipbait. Was worth a shot though. Now to convince all of the neighborhood flies to leave my yard…
