Has anyone been out lately? hows the bite been? If not very good any one know when it will pick up. I am taking my girlfriends little 12 year old brother out and am just wondering hows its been.

It’s been crappy for me on the Northern Croix, and Northern Sippi, I think some of the guys here have been having a good time on the south part of the rivers though.

With the crappy weekend weather, I haven’t been out much. Sunday I picked up 3 channels in 45 minutes before it started raining.

It’s too early in the year to sit in the rain…in my book.

It’s looking good for this weekend. Higher temps lasting into the late night hours and very little rain predicted. I’m thinking the water temp is going to climb at least into the low 60’s and with a little luck, above my favorite 65 degree range.

The channel cats are coming into Everts resort by the bucket full with a few flats as well.

Boat’s ready to go, bait is a go, my last I-Cat Rod came in yesterday…is it Friday YET!

I thought you changed the sign at the Iowa border?

Went out tonight for a couple hours and used Secret 7. Lots of bites, but only one fiddler channel to show for it. I DID see bald eagles, herons, geese with goslings (early?), and a smallie jump about 3 feet out of the water. So it was not a bad outing at all. All this right in the TC two blocks from my house.
