Because of guiding commitments the FW, FD and FS (Favorite Self) won’t be attending this years Sturgeon Excursion. First time since they’ve started.
The Favorite wife isn’t happy and the Favorite Daughter had tears in her eyes because they were so looking forward to seeing the Ido folks again, getting away for a long weekend and even the “gentle giant” the sturgeon.
So, to make it up to them we’ll be spending some time on the good o’Mississippi River channel cat fishing out of Everts Resort. Looking for a few flats into the evening hours as well as seeing the guys at Four Seasons.
I’m sure that will be a evening trip over to the local beverage establishment at least one of these nights.
So, all you folks heading up to the ’12 Sturgeon Excursion have a great time! The three of us will be there in spirit if not in person.
