    Color is one thing.

The real questions is how will it stand up?

More to come further into the season.

why are you using mono for your main line? I love mono for leaders, but no way i am going away from braid for my main line.

    just curious is all…

Channel cats and sturgeon big guy. Flats still get the old braided Tug O War in 80 pound test.

Nope, I haven’t lost my cookies. LOL!

I switched my channel gear to 20# Big Game a couple years ago and Im sold on the stuff. When I shore fish its usually pretty rocky and Ive kept a lot more rigs with mono. If that stuff is as good as Big Game you’ll be happy.

The darker green spool next to the Electric Lime is Big Game. The one thing I notice so far besides the color is that it doesn’t stay coiled (no memory)..but tomorrow will be it’s first on the water test…and we’ll go from there.

You can have my yellow power pro in 20lb for channel cats when they pry it from my cold dead hands. If you fish weeds braid is vastly superior to mono. PP cuts through weeds like butter.

When a big girl wraps you around 10 square yards of them you will wish you had PP on. You will also want PP when you try to throw a float 30 yards with 1/4 oz of weight on it. The wind is going to ruin my weekend.
