MADE IN THE USA. CARBON FIBER BLANKS. 100% BAD AZZ CARBON FIBER!

From Jeff Williams owner of Team Catfish

Well it has taken me almost 2 years to get this new brand of rods built right, and it is SOOO right now. This is without a doubt the finest rod I have ever had my hands on. HIGH STANDARD Carbon Rods will be building 2 Team Catfish editions. Heavy action 7-6 and a MH 7 ft. Both in casting and spinning.

More details and a video about the new HIGH STANDARD Carbon Rods should be done next week. Catfish Anglers or anyone else will never have to sacrifice sensitivity for durability again. The new HIGH STANDARD Rods got U covered.

    Feels like graphite.

    Stronger than glass.

The 7-6 rod will be available in just a few weeks at TeamCatfish.com!

    Brian,

I’d like to hold a medium heavy 7 footer and what price point are these rods? Can you have one to Everts next week?

IF they are available, I’ll have at least one at Everts next weekend.

Big question is if. Unless it’s changed they’ll be priced at $149.00.

In talking with Jeff, they put 37 pounds of lead in a pail and lifted it off the ground using only the High Standard rod.

Ever thought about bassing a 20 pound cat into the boat? LOL!

wow… is this a change in direction – are they discontinuing the original team catfish glass rods?

Our old friend Denny Halgren is a big proponent of graphite rods, I’m sure he’s excited about this as a Team Catfish promotional team member.

With the right action/flexibility, I like graphite rods as well… too bad the price tag is a bit on the high side my budget…

    Price.

That’s what’s been keeping Jeff from coming out with a graphite rod all along.

There’s many advantages to each material. It’s up to the user to decide what’s important to them keeping the family budget in mind.

Personally I love the fact that Team Catfish make a effort to have his products made in the good ol’ US of A.

I’d like to hold one but the math doesn’t work out. One ugly stick $26.95 catch a couple hundred fish never break only the guides wear out.

I’m not sure they’ll make it to my camper by this weekend Kev.

I don’t know if a graphite or carbon rod an any price would be a good fit for your lake application.

Here’s more info on the New High Standard Rods.

    1) We are going to sell the heavy model for $149.95 with a HIGH STANDARD 3 year bumper to bumper warranty + a lifetime half price replacement guarantee. To qualify for each warranty claim or lifetime half price rod price replacement each rod MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PROOF OF PURCHASE. (No Exceptions) The mandatory proof of purchase will act as the time table for the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty and also proves the exact purchase price of the rod. The cost of the half price replacement guarantee will be figured of the proof of purchase price.

    2) If a break ocours the blank will be sent back to the manufacturer a the owners expense. The manufacturer will examine the blank and determine if its abuse or a faulty rod issue. A replacement or a repaired rod will be sent back to the customer free of charge if its determined by the manufacture that its a warranty issue.

    3) If its deemed customer abuse by the manufacturer, then the owner will be contacted and a half price replacement will be offered. If the half price replacement rod is purchased from the manufacturer, it will be sent to the owner the expense of the manufacturer. The guaranteed half price cost will only be figured using the purchase price paid for the rod. The owner will have to show a proof of purchase in order to qualify for the HIGH STANDARD lifetime half price guarantee. (No Exceptions)

Also, Jeff’s working on a Medium Heavy rod.

Lot’s of new items coming out of Team Catfish this year!

I have been in contact with Team Catfish and placed an order today for a wide variety of their products. We do plan to carry the rods as well. Please be sure to stop in and see out new catfish section. I would think it will be complete in a week or so. Lots of high quality hooks, baits, line, dips, and rods. I promise you will be impressed. I have years of experience fishing Flatheads, Channels and Blues and will be more than happy to help you with any questions you may have. Heck, I will even give you a couple of BK’s spots.

What are your hours of operation? Will you be open a little later for the Cat guys coming down to the river in the evening?
