I just ordered it in 20 pound.

I’m still a braid kinda guy, but this might be just the ticket for the open water fishing for sturgies and channels.

I dumped the 30 pound big game a few years back mostly because of the stretch, but the dark green was..well, dark green. I also thought 30 pound test was over kill for where I fish. Harder to manage is what I’m talking about.

Since this Ultra High Vis line comes in tests down to 10 pounds, I see many applications for the river angler.

Use your power of persuasion BK and get them to come out with 8 pound with a diameter of .009 and I see a whole new market for them

You better stay in the closet as far as walleye go. How many blades have you seen fished on mono??? That would make a interesting dragging line if you can get them to crank it out in 8 pound test.

When I was a kid, I fished a lot for channel cats and panfish using 8 or 10# Stren.

You can still straighten light wire gold hooks with that…

Im not much of a mono guy these days, but if it has the same quality as their braidline does then its gotta be good stuff.

Ive used their braid from freshwater to saltwater. catchin darn near everything that swims from cats-tarpon even 9’bullsharks. ive got some buds dwn in FL now that uses it as well.
    However,
I wouldnt mind a #65-80 in 500-1000yrd of spool. hint hint BK

I’ve been converted to Tug-O-War as well.

Some will say it’s because their a sponsor. Others that have tried it will say it’s affordable and doesn’t flake the coloring, stays Nuclear Yellow, doesn’t fray like others and it’s tuff stuff. It casts fantastically well, but since I fish out of a boat, that’s not as important to me.

Mr. Special, we’ll have to bug Mr. Williams about the size of the spools…or tie two 300 yard spools together with a uni to uni knot. LOL!

Isn’t most of that the same stuff anyway BK? He mentioned circle hooks, so what else do you need?

If Chris didn’t order 3/0 double actions…I’ll have to search else where.

They work great! Set the hook if you like, slowly sweep if you like or just leave it in the rod holder and “burn” it.

When guiding it’s easy for folk that have always “set” the hook to forget to sweep.

I will say I’ve had the 3/0’s bend when using a pliers on them to remove the hook but I’ve haven’t (never say never on the river) bent one on a fish yet.

…and unless I forget, I crimp down the barb. Take the hooks out with my fingers most of the time.

    Your mileage may vary.
