It’s a north american channel. From the western hemisphere. On earth.

Hard to believe but I actually caught a channel. My son’s friend got his on cut, mine was a bluegill eater.

Harvey County Kansas lake. Nice clean area- good for camping and fishing.

From a St. Croix trip on 9/9/12…

    33×16 for 14 lbs… HUGE fat belly… in 25-30 FOW on crawlers.

Scary Jeff’s PB channel and actually a BB (boat best) for channel cats… biggest channel my boat’s seen. Yet.

I’m done for this year. Here are the highlights. Last year I thought it couldn’t possibly be as good this year and I was wrong.

    Friends and Father/Son teams.

Fishing, it’s what smiles and memories are made of!

HOW DID THAT GET IN HERE! LOL!

A few were invited to dinner and the rest were released.

Caught these on the Minnesota river this summer. New to this whole thing, would like to know where to catch ’em this late in the year… and how I should be rigging. Been dragging bottom with large sucker minnows.

    Welcome to Ido Mike!

I haven’t been out for a couple weeks but will be Friday and Saturday. We’ll be using slices of sucker to start off with. Then on to a few fathead minnows on a circle hook with one or two alive and the same dead by squishing.

Couple types of stink bait will be in the arsenal along with a gob of crawlers.

Smaller baits seem to work better as the water temps dip.

    Stay warm!

    Dream on little buddy.

You’ve never looked that good since the day your mother asked the doctor to stop slapping you.

I’m new to this sight, and have to say a lot of nice catfish caught. I enjoyed the pics. Looking forward to this next season. I fish the Red River in the Fargo Moorhead area.
Here are a few from the summer of 2012.
