By the sounds of it, you guys went to the #2 spot. Next time try the #1 spot. Might have company there though.

Heres a few from Saturday night down here in Rochester. Got five total in a three and a half hour span using the old standby of crushed fatheads on a green glow spoon along with one live fathead to keed things lively.

Another nice one through the ice last night! Didn’t have a tape, but was much longer than my 20″ scoop, and FAT, barely fit through a 7″ hole. Squished fatheads + one live one, slowly jigged in 26 FOW. Cell phone pics aren’t the greatest but thanks to Jim for taking the pics for me.

Was a blast!!! Dang far drive though – I think I got home at 4:30 am this morn lol.

It seems I have been doing to much landing and not enough catching lately…

    NICE FISH!

Had to add this one as well – if you haven’t cat fished on the river, through the ice, with 6 bobbers in a row……

    you haven’t lived.

It was good to meet you Dan, Stevens and crew!

It was great to meet you guys as well. Next time I’ll have to be a bit more social. I can get a little tunnel vision while fishing, and tend to be oblivious to anything outside my little world of flashers, cut bait and fishing poles

Yes. After my nephew reeled it to the boat, I hit him over the head with a 6oz sinker and took over. My fish.

You know the fishing is going to be good this spring – even Pug is holding up a fish.

Got mine on cut sucker too. We had no shad. Tough to compare days a week apart, but we had a lot more pecks on the shad. But mine hammered a sucker. When I have both options next time, it will be a tough choice.

Just looked at another photo of that fish and she looked like she put on a couple inches from the first picture to this second one. Just so no one accuses me of inflating my fish, she was 26.5 or 26.25″. I did not get a girth.

I’ve been out ten times so far this spring and so far these two channel cats are the biggest ones we’ve got in my boat. One was 22 lbs. 3 oz. and the other one was 22 lbs. 5 oz. Both put up great fights. I’ve taken a lot of people out with me and have just had a great time helping these guys have the fishing trip of a lifetime.
